wHOBC is now live and tradeable on DexScreener

We're excited to announce a major milestone for the HobbyHash community: Wrapped HobbyHash (wHOBC) is now live on BNB Smart Chain. For the first time, you can buy, sell, and trade HobbyHash on the open market — and track the live price, charts, and volume — all from one place on DexScreener.

Please remember to update your windows wallet for the changes also.

What this means
Until now, HOBC lived only on our own proof-of-work network for home solo miners. wHOBC is the bridged BEP-20 version of HOBC, so it can trade on the wider crypto market. Every wHOBC is backed 1:1 by real HOBC locked in our official, on-chain HobbyHash bridge. 1 HOBC = 1 wHOBC.

Where to buy, trade and track it

(DexScreener has a built-in Buy/Trade button, so you can swap right from the chart.)

Built to be trustworthy
• 🔒 Liquidity locked via PinkLock until June 2027
• ✅ Token & bridge contracts verified on BscScan
• 🏦 All admin roles held by a Gnosis Safe multisig — not a single wallet
• 🪙 Minting is restricted to the bridge contract only (1:1 lock-and-mint, no arbitrary supply)

A note for early traders
This is an early-stage launch with a modest starter liquidity pool. With low liquidity, even small trades can move the price significantly — that's expected, and liquidity will grow over time. If you see a "new token" caution, that's an automated advisory for any new token; our contracts are verified, our LP is locked, and our roles are multisig-controlled. Always do your own research. This is not financial advice.

About HOBC

HobbyHash Coin

HobbyHash Coin (HOBC) is a SHA-256 coin and public command center built for home solo miners, transparent chain information, simple pool setup, and honest website status.

Project goal: HOBC is meant to make solo mining approachable without pretending that mining is guaranteed income. The website should help users run a node, mine to their own HOBC address, understand custody risk, and verify public data without fake prices, fake blocks, fake txids, or fake balances.

Three steps to solo mining

Create a wallet, point your miner, and start finding blocks. It's that simple.

  1. Get a wallet

Create a web wallet or download the Windows wallet.

  2. Point your miners

Generate a HOBC address and use it before the dot in your worker name.

    YOUR_HOBC_ADDRESS.worker1
  3. Mine blocks

Connect to the main or nano solo pool and start hashing.

The Coin

HOBC uses the HobbyHash Coin name, the HOBC ticker, and the `hobc` address identity. It is a SHA-256 coin with mainnet node software, local RPC, mining pools, public APIs, and documentation built around one clear brand.

The supply plan is simple: 84,000,000 HOBC target supply, 8,400,000 HOBC launch reserve, and 75,600,000 HOBC normal mining target. Block 1 is the special launch reserve block, and normal mining starts after that under the documented subsidy rules.

The Website

The website is the HOBC command center. It brings together the home dashboard, mining pages, main and nano pool setup, explorer, stats, downloads, docs, launch reserve information, burn tracker, FAQ, contact, and wallet pages.

Every live value should come from real APIs, real local node RPC, real pool status files, real wallet database state, or clearly marked pending data. If something is not ready, the website should say syncing, offline, pending launch, or not available.

Mining and Pools

HOBC pools are solo only. Shares prove that a miner is working, but payouts happen only when a worker finds a real block. The payout address is the HOBC address before the dot in the worker name.

Use a worker name like YOUR_HOBC_ADDRESS.worker1 (Main Pool) or YOUR_HOBC_ADDRESS.nano1 (Nano Pool). Always include your HOBC address, a dot, and a worker suffix. The address before the dot is your payout address.

When your miner finds a solo block, the HOBC reward is paid automatically to the address before the dot in your worker name after the coinbase reaches 100 on-chain confirmations. Until then the block may show as waiting for maturity. That wait is normal coinbase maturity—not a manual pool hold.

The Workers count on pool status includes every miner with recent accepted shares in the active session window, not only live stratum socket connections. That is why it can be higher than a raw connection count from pool software.

Wallet and Custody

HOBC offers a custodial web wallet and an official Windows standalone wallet. The web wallet is convenient for deposits and withdrawals, but the website controls those keys and funds until a withdrawal is broadcast. The Windows standalone wallet installs on your PC and keeps keys local. Use the web wallet for smaller balances, and the Windows standalone wallet for larger balances and long-term storage.

Wallet deposits require real confirmations. Withdrawals must create real on-chain txids. Public wallet pages must never expose private wallet data or public user balances. Download the Windows standalone wallet from the official downloads page when you want local custody instead of the web wallet.

Transparency

Launch reserve and burn tracking must be based on real chain data. Reserve tracking can be pending, but it should not be replaced with guessed balances or fake txids.

Burn Tracker

No Fake Data

HOBC pages must not fake market price, market cap, blocks, wallet balances, txids, burns, explorer results, or pool stats. Unavailable data must be labeled honestly.

Where We Are Going

The build direction is to keep the chain, pools, explorer, wallet, docs, reserve, burn tracker, and services organized around a clean HOBC launch path for real users.
