Privacy Policy

How HobbyHash Coin LLC handles website, wallet, Google Play Android wallet, bridge, referral, support, mining, SMS, analytics, and security information.

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to HobbyHash Coin LLC, HOBC, hobbyhashcoin.com, the HOBC command center, public website pages, support forms, the custodial web wallet, local wallet downloads, the HobbyHash Wallet Android app on Google Play, mining and pool pages (Main Pool, Nano Pool, and PPLNS Pool when enabled), explorer and stats pages, launch reserve pages, burn tracker pages, market and bridge pages, referral program pages, exchange listing pages, docs, email notices, SMS security messages, and official social channels linked from the site.

HOBC is built around honest status reporting. If data is unavailable, syncing, offline, pending launch, or not available yet, the site should say that instead of showing fake data.

Information We Collect

HOBC may collect account information such as username, email address, password hash, phone number, phone verification status, authenticator app (TOTP) security status when enabled, account status, security settings, referral code, referral relationships when applicable, and login timestamps.

HOBC may collect wallet activity needed to operate the custodial web wallet, including deposit addresses, withdrawal requests, internal ledger entries, transaction identifiers, confirmation counts, requested destination addresses, request IP address, request browser/user-agent, and wallet support history.

HOBC may collect support ticket details, including requester name, requester email, account ID if logged in, source section, ticket messages, status changes, IP address, browser/user-agent, and admin replies.

HOBC may collect technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, device/user-agent, session identifiers, CSRF events, rate-limit events, failed login attempts, successful login events, SMS challenge records, email delivery events, download tracking events when enabled, and admin audit logs.

Blockchain data such as addresses, blocks, transactions, txids, reserve activity, burn activity, bridge activity, and pool-related public mining data may be public by design. Do not submit private keys, seed phrases, passwords, API secrets, or other sensitive secrets through support forms.

If the referral program is enabled, HOBC may collect referral codes, referral links used, attribution timestamps, qualifying unwrap events, payout ledger entries, hashed referral IP or device fingerprints, and public referral leaderboard statistics derived from paid events.

If you use bridge or market pages, HOBC may collect the wallet addresses, amounts, directions, statuses, and public transaction references you submit or that are needed to show bridge activity feeds and status panels.

How We Use Information

Information is used to provide website and wallet access, process deposits and withdrawals, operate support tickets, send ticket notices, protect accounts, verify logins, verify withdrawals when enabled, operate the referral program when enabled, display bridge status and market information, audit admin actions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, comply with legal obligations, and show honest service status.

HOBC uses phone numbers and SMS verification data only for account security, login verification, admin verification, support, wallet safety, withdrawal verification when enabled, and service-related notices requested or enabled by the user or administrator.

HOBC may use aggregated or technical information to understand site reliability, pool status, wallet backend health, explorer sync status, bridge status, referral activity, and abuse patterns. HOBC does not use fake balances, fake txids, fake pool stats, fake market values, fake burns, or fake blockchain status.

Custodial Wallet Notice

Only the HOBC web wallet on hobbyhashcoin.com is custodial. The website controls those wallet keys and funds until withdrawal. HOBC also offers official local wallet software on the downloads page, including the Windows standalone wallet and Android wallet, plus Linux node packages. Use local wallet software or another non-custodial wallet for larger balances and long-term storage.

Wallet records are used to operate the custodial web wallet, maintain internal accounting, process deposits and withdrawals, investigate support requests, detect abuse, and maintain security logs. Public blockchain transactions may remain visible on-chain permanently.

Local Wallet Software And Node Downloads

Downloads for the Windows standalone wallet, Android wallet (website APK and Google Play), and Linux node packages are local software tools. Those apps and nodes run on your device or server and are not the custodial web wallet unless explicitly stated on the page you are using.

HOBC may log download events, checksum verification references, or support requests related to local wallet software, but local wallet keys and seed material should remain on your device unless you choose to share information with support.

Google Play Android Wallet

The HobbyHash Wallet Android app distributed on Google Play (package com.hobbyhashcoin.wallet.android) is a self-custody local full-node wallet. It runs a HobbyHash node and encrypted wallet on your device. HOBC does not hold your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet password for that app, and it is not the custodial web wallet on hobbyhashcoin.com.

Wallet files, addresses, balances, and transaction history for the Play Store app stay on your device unless you choose to export a backup, share information with support, or interact with public blockchain networks. On-chain HOBC and related network activity may remain publicly visible by design.

The Play Store app may use device permissions needed to operate the wallet, including internet access for network sync and public HobbyHash APIs, camera access for optional QR scanning, biometric or device-credential unlock, notifications for node status and wallet alerts, and a foreground data-sync service so the local node can continue syncing while a status notification is shown. Updates for the Play Store build are delivered through Google Play.

When the app is online, it may contact HobbyHash public services (for example chain status, bridge or market information, announcements, or optional desktop-style presence/status heartbeats). Those requests can include technical details such as app version, language, platform, and node or sync status needed to operate those features. They are not used to sell your personal information.

Referral Program

If the referral program is enabled, HOBC may store a referral cookie (hobc_ref_code) or equivalent attribution data so a new registration can be linked to the referring account according to the published program rules.

Referral payouts, leaderboard stats, and public referral summaries are based on qualifying program events such as paid unwrap activity. HOBC may use hashed IP or device fingerprints to reduce duplicate or abusive referral claims.

Bridge, wHOBC, And Market Pages

If you use the public wHOBC bridge, market chart, or related HOBC pages, HOBC may process bridge request identifiers, wallet addresses you submit for wrap or unwrap, requested amounts, transaction status, confirmation data, public activity feed entries, and technical request metadata needed to operate or display bridge status.

Bridge and market pages may link to third-party services such as BSC explorers, DEX aggregators, or exchange pages. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. On-chain BSC and HOBC activity related to wrap, unwrap, or trading may remain public by design.

Price, liquidity, market cap, pool composition, and chart values shown on HOBC pages must come from live backend or third-party feed data when available. If data is syncing, offline, or unavailable, the site should say so instead of showing fake market values.

Analytics And Site Usage

HOBC may collect first-party pageview and visitor analytics such as page path, referrer, browser language, coarse visitor identifiers (hobc_vid, hobc_sid), hashed IP data, and UTM campaign values (hobc_utm) to understand traffic, fix errors, and measure site reliability. This internal analytics stays on HOBC systems and is never sold.

When enabled, the global network map and related stats pages may show aggregated node, miner, or visitor geography derived from operational telemetry. These displays are informational and should not be treated as exact real-time location tracking of individual users.

SMS And Email Communications

If SMS or email security is enabled, HOBC may send verification codes, ticket notices, and account safety messages. SMS codes are generated by the site, stored as hashes, and expire after a short time.

SMS messages are transactional and security-focused. Message frequency varies based on login attempts, admin verification, verification requests, support activity, wallet security events, withdrawal verification, and account actions.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. Opting out may prevent you from receiving SMS login or wallet security codes, which may limit access to protected features when SMS requirements are enabled.

No Third-Party Marketing Sharing

HOBC does not sell, rent, or share personal information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

HOBC may share limited information only with service providers needed to operate the website, wallet, bridge tooling, support system, email delivery, SMS delivery, hosting, database services, security logging, fraud prevention, analytics necessary for operations, or legal compliance. These providers may only use the information to provide those services to HOBC.

Cookies, Sessions, And Security Logs

HOBC uses essential cookies and similar storage to keep users logged in, protect forms with CSRF tokens, remember your language preference, store referral attribution when applicable, and operate admin and wallet sessions. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or wallet features from working.

First-party visitor analytics (hobc_vid, hobc_sid, hobc_utm) and referral attribution (hobc_ref_code) always run for internal site operations. This data stays on HOBC systems and is never sold. Marketing measurement scripts (Google Ads and Ahrefs) load only when you choose Accept all on the cookie banner.

Security logs may include IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps, attempted actions, login results, throttle status, support activity, bridge activity metadata, referral events, and admin audit events. These logs help protect users, admins, and wallet funds.

Data Retention

HOBC keeps information as long as needed to operate the website and wallet, maintain security, resolve support tickets, operate bridge and referral records, satisfy accounting or legal obligations, audit admin actions, and protect against abuse. Blockchain data may remain public and permanent due to the nature of blockchain networks.

Support tickets, wallet ledger records, withdrawal records, bridge request records, referral attribution records, security logs, and admin audit logs may be retained for operational and security reasons even after an account is inactive.

User Choices

You may choose not to create a wallet account and still view public pages that are available. You may choose to use the Windows standalone wallet, Android wallet, Linux node software, or another local wallet instead of the custodial web wallet. You may request help or account review through support.

If SMS security is enabled and you opt out or remove your phone number, protected features may stop working until another approved security method is available.

On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies or limit the site to essential plus internal analytics and referral cookies only (no third-party marketing). You can change marketing consent later by clearing site cookies in your browser and revisiting the site.

Children

HOBC services are not intended for children. Do not use the wallet, support forms, bridge tools, or SMS program if you are not old enough to use cryptocurrency services in your location.

Changes To This Policy

HOBC may update this Privacy Policy as the website, wallet, Google Play Android wallet, bridge, referral program, mining tools, support tools, SMS security, explorer, market pages, and analytics features change. The updated version will be posted on this page.
