How contests work

Weekly contests run on the Main solo pool (port 5555) only. Prizes are paid from pool fees held in the startupfees wallet.
Weeks run Monday through Sunday (Pacific time). Winners are paid on Monday morning.
Each week, 30% / 20% / 10% of collected pool fees go to the three contests; the remaining 40% rolls into the monthly jackpot.
Lowest-TH block finder: among miners who found a block that week, the winner has the lowest estimated hashrate at block find.
How lowest-TH ranking works: when a block is confirmed, the pool estimates that worker's hashrate (TH/s) from accepted shares submitted in the 12 hours before the solve. Only block finders qualify. Lower estimate wins; if you found multiple blocks, your best (lowest) qualifying estimate counts. Earlier block find breaks ties. The public table shows blocks found per worker, not this internal estimate, so rank order may not match the Score column.
Most blocks + uptime: most blocks found that week; ties break on longest connected time.
Highest hit: best share difficulty submitted that week (block find not required).
If no pool block is found in a week, the lowest-TH prize rolls to the jackpot instead of a weekly winner.
Monthly jackpot: eligibility is based on uptime only in the prior calendar month — not blocks or share difficulty. Miners need at least 50% active time in the qualifying period and a peak hashrate at or below 50 TH/s. One eligible miner is picked at random; the full jackpot pool is paid on the 1st.
Launch period: the first contest week and first contest month (when contests went live mid-period) only count activity from go-live through period end for uptime display and jackpot eligibility. Weekly and jackpot prize pools still use the full base amounts. All later weeks and months use normal full-period rules.
Worker names are masked on public leaderboards. Internal scoring metrics used for ranking are not shown on this page.
