We're excited to announce a major milestone for the HobbyHash community: Wrapped HobbyHash (wHOBC) is now live on BNB Smart Chain. For the first time, you can buy, sell, and trade HobbyHash on the open market — and track the live price, charts, and volume — all from one place on DexScreener.

What this means
Until now, HOBC lived only on our own proof-of-work network for home solo miners. wHOBC is the bridged BEP-20 version of HOBC, so it can trade on the wider crypto market. Every wHOBC is backed 1:1 by real HOBC locked in our official, on-chain HobbyHash bridge. 1 HOBC = 1 wHOBC.

How it works

  3. UnwrapWhen you want native HOBC back, connect your BSC wallet in the Unwrap section, enter a HOBC address, and confirm. We release HOBC to you.

Wrap fee: 2% of the HOBC you send is deducted automatically and paid in HOBC. You receive the rest as wHOBC, backed 1:1.

  • Check the token balance on BscScan or our live market page to see your real wHOBC amount and USD price.
  • wHOBC uses 8 decimals (not 18). Importing with the wrong decimal count can make your balance look empty.
  • Some wallets drop custom tokens after updates. Activity may show transfers even when the Tokens tab does not.

What is wHOBC?

wHOBC is a wrapped version of HOBC issued on BNB Smart Chain. Each wHOBC is backed 1:1 by HOBC held in bridge custody, so it can be held in your own wallet and traded on the open market.

Is it really 1:1 backed?

Yes. The amount of wHOBC in circulation always matches the HOBC locked in custody, and you can verify it on the proof-of-reserves page.

How long does wrapping take?

After your HOBC deposit reaches the required confirmations, your wHOBC is minted automatically — typically under an hour.

What does it cost?

Wrapping charges a small percentage fee on the HOBC you send (shown above). It is deducted automatically from your deposit and paid in HOBC, so you receive the remaining amount as wHOBC, still backed 1:1. Unwrapping on BSC also costs a small amount of BNB for gas.

Why does my wallet show $0 for wHOBC?

During early launch, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and BscScan often show $0 USD until a price feed lists wHOBC — that does not mean your balance is zero. wHOBC also uses 8 decimals (not 18), so a wrong import can hide your coins.
